Seeds to bucket

When picking up seeds from the ground and carrying an empty bucket, the seeds should automatically be stored in the bucket but instead they go the the inventory, meaning that I must click each stack into my bucket manually

This does not mesh particularly well with the general notion that seeds of varying qualities should not mix automatically, does it?

Most of my fields are small enough that there is no variance in quality, perhaps if you don't want it mixed don't wear an empty bucket?

Seems pretty deliberate to want a bucket filled with the seeds you're picking up from the ground, considering you can have 2 at most.
