wonderous wood shaving time broken?

is there something wrong with wonderous wood shaving? i put a dark heart and a WWS in at the same time and now the dark heart only has 12 hours left and the WWS has 21 still. it seems like it's taking it way longer than it should? how did the 96 hour item pass the 72 hour item to end faster?
extra info: i always keep my brain "locked" so it wasn't touched or moved.

dark heart probably had it's time tweaked and isn't actually 96 hrs anymore

but when i checked later in the day that i put it in my brain, it said like 85ish hours. so unless they haven't changed the in game counter also.

There is no in-game counter, that's a custom client feature that has to be monitored and maintained by its creator.
