Why are you complaining?
Smog just lowers your fps

It troubles when I lighting steel crucibles, I thought I lit all of my crucibles but I wasn't, because I couldn't see smog comes out. I noticed that I haven't lit one after one day :(

You using a custom client? If so, does it have settings to turn this off (a couple have several options to help boost frame rates)?

Otherwise, this is more of a bug issue if it's with the basic client.

That's mighty weird. I have no good explanation for why that would happen at this time.

If it helps at all I have no issue seeing the smoke/smog coming out of furnaces or kilns on my home computer which is very good but when I log in from my work computer which is mediocre I cannot see the animations from any lit furnaces/kilns so I guess it's just one of those optimization issues? This is using default client as well.
