Crashing on startup

Postby chocolaterain » Tue Feb 02, 2016 7:03 pm

A certain pc of mine crashes whenever I launch hafen, with the following error:

Running with java 8 on windows 7, with a pentium g3460 and a gt 9800. I'm aware that the GPU is ancient, but it supports opengl 2.1 so it should work nevertheless. Anyone have any clue what could be wrong?

It's not that ancient in the grand scheme of things (circa 2010-11 if I recall). My gut reaction is that this is a driver or compatibility issue, but I can't be entirely sure on that as I haven't seen this one here that I recall. I'll see if I can do some digging.

Moved this to Bugs to get better tech support visibility.

edit: Did some cursory searching, but not finding anything that would be helpful to you. Maybe loftar or someone else can provide more insight.

Weird. It seems to be some kind of error that JOGL throws, but I can't quite make out what it means right now.

Figured it out, I forgot I still had a ReShade injector in my java folder. Apparantly it causes hafen to crash.
