Hearthling lose direction or strange trellis

Tried to sow some cucumber seeds, and...
There is line of trellis, and when i try to plant on one of them, hearthling goes to opposite, then stop.
PLZ tell him where is left and right!

might try standing a little further away when you right click - or from the other side. They are picky on your position, so you have to be centered or it gets blocked.

*also, you do know the server is going to be wiped soon right? Hopefully your just trying things out because it will likely be gone by the end of next week.

Probably not enough spacing between them, quite simply. The hearthling plants trelli from a specific point in front of them.

natural raw trellis placement right next to one another is not enough space. That is retarded.

In the future, turn them so they are like a solid line instead of a line of vertical slashes, where - or | is a trellis

I made this mistake early on, and only had a couple grape and pepper plants so it wasn't that big a deal to remove them. When I turned them, it made it much, much easier to use.
