Game Crashes Upon Loading - ATI Graphics Card Stops Working

Postby Rindelas » Sun Feb 14, 2016 10:13 am

Hello,

I've been trying to play the game again as the updated graphics look awesome. However, whenever I go to play and log in, the game music plays and the start of the game happens but the game shortly freezes before I can do anything and then I get a pop up that says "DIsplay Driver Stopped Responding and Has Recovered".

Is there a way to fix this? Here is the driver information that I thought could be relevant:

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers? You may need to uninstall and run a clean-up program after uninstalling the current drivers. Sometimes things bug up. Be sure to run a drive scan, too, to make sure that something didn't get corrupted or there are bad sectors on the disk. There should be no reason that your computer doesn't run Haven properly. The specific instructions for doing this will depend on which operating system you use.

I think i had the same graphic card before or a very similar one.
What os are you using?
If its windows 8 and its not 8.1 you can have problems with opengl.
Ugrade the drivers and upgrade the os if its the case.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm actually using WIndows 7 - updated my drivers completely, still didn't work. Restored my whole computer to factory settings (for other reason) still doesn't work. Maybe it's windows 7?
