No confirmation email when registering?

My brother tried to register last night (about 24h ago) and didn't get any confirmation so he can actually make an account. I then tried to make a new account to check and the same thing happened to me, still waiting on an email. Is it normal to have to wait so long?

there is no such a thing as confirmation email, if this is related to the verified account, you get that with $cash money bling bling$

No I mean about making a new account - normal registration. Said something would be sent to the email specified and nothing came.

Spam filter is the usual culprit in cases like these.

In the past, I've seen this issue attached to the browser being used. Both myself and one of my villagers were unable to receive confirmation emails when registration was performed through Chrome. Attempt a different browser? Might work, probably won't.

I'll give it a shot. It didn't go to spam or anywhere else.

EDIT: Nvm, it did go to spam on that mail account and of course, spam doesn't get forwarded to the mail I check, doh... gotta get my brother to check his spam on that mail.

Yea, email issues are almost always cause by spam filters.

Mostly, but there are situations where mail literally does not get through certain gateways. I was playing SW:TOR for a while, and EA-Mythic couldn't (wouldn't?) get email to Hotmail accounts, but Yahoo and Google worked fine.

yea.. almost always that almost still means i have to check out mail servers whenever a customer has an issue though.. only to respond, check your spam please ugh

Turns out my brother didn't get the mail, not in spam or anywhere. He's gonna try the browser change thing.
