Plowed Land spreads by itself

Apparently, plowing your dirt makes it sentenient. It grows.
A few days ago i plowed a perfect square for my new field because OCD and now there's extra plowing at some spots around the edges. Not sure if intented.

isn't this working as intended? dirt decays to adjacent tile type.

That should only be true of natural tiles.

Dirt spreading into the field would make sense, field spreading over dirt not so much.
