Miners helmet does not protect against caveins. If a cavein hits you, the miners helm gets consumed, but it does not protect against any of the damage (And man does caveins hurt now)

The helmet does work as intended when we try, i.e. with it you only take half your SHP in damage, and it is consumed, whereas without it you lose all your SHP and some HHP. Suspect that you expected it to prevent all damage, or that you were hit by multiple caveins.

Since the HHP part is the concussion from the KO the helmet should have a grace period before despawning, so cavein triggering other unstable tiles could not knock you out cold.
