man I cant play this game at all, it crashes right after it loads the map it says finalizing tileset then some stuff I cant read fast enough to tell. I have windows 7 and latest java.

Couple of threads on this. The one I found closest to your problem was actually an improperly installed graphics card. The general indicator is that there's a graphics device error or it doesn't properly support programmable shaders. Make sure your cards are configured correctly, especially if you have an older integrated Intel GPU and an add-in graphics card. Make sure drivers are up to date.

@darklord36: are you connecting through a proxy? It's the only thing I can find that would cause this problem. Make sure it's configured correctly or that attempting to connect through a proxy is turned off in your browser and/or Java. https://java.com/en/download/help/proxy_setup.xml

I'm not using any proxy, I checked everything, but I finally made it work by using a custom client. Thanks for the support ! :)

Are you really sure? I, too, can only imagine that to be the cause of such an error. Java does have its own proxy settings, separate from Windows', which I have sometimes seen being set for some reason.

I checked again, and java is not using a proxy

Try using the "Direct connection" option instead.
