A boar aggro'ed one of our alts using this bug. When the alt came close to the pali, the boar knocked him out. There is a downward slope there and the boar was standing higher than the alt, if that matters.

As a note to OP: part of it is this issue with attack ranges: viewtopic.php?f=47&t=42261#p551268
other part is issue of animals aggro through walls where there is no "line of sight" viewtopic.php?f=47&t=45722

bats seem to agro over palisades also and then can fly over palisade walls

This also works with horses if no one has mentioned it already you can hit players through a palisade using the horses head hitbox.
TRAITORS WILL BE SHOT.
