Necrophiliac here. When I mount a skull on the wall, it faces the wall instead of facing out from the wall like mounted skulls ought to.

But, yeah, it should be changed, it looks nothing like a skull, it always reminds me of a seashell ... not quite as intimidating ... :P

While I agree I'd like to see the skull facing forward, I'll give a reminder that in catacombs and such, skulls were on some sort of shelf, ledge, or other horizontal flat surface, not hanging from a wall.
