Tamed horses starve to death

For now it's not dead yet but horse doesn't care about the trough around:

I can post other horses bars if needed but at least 2 horses that were used for travelling didn't refill their bars of satiety after leaving them near troughs.

I have also noticed that horses refuse to eat when hungry even though they're right next to a food trough. Either they only attempt to eat every once in a long while, or they only eat while unloaded or something.

This can be working as intended I think. Is it not a good gaming mechanism, however.

u are just not a good stablemaster u need to get to know your horses better

some times horses get depressed too, u need to get right up inside the horse , deep within, on a both physical and mental level- only then will you develop bond of love and understanding

Do horses eat on unloaded area? As we kept some horses underground (with the trough) but people didn't pass it very frequently. So those 2 horses I mentioned were kept mostly in the cave

If they don't, mine would probably be dead by now. So most likely they do.
