The brown bar is wellfedness, and takes permanent damage whenever the cow starves. Cow product quality (meat/milk/hide) is multiplied by wellfedness %, which is why yours is less than q10.

Not a bug.

Ok my bad then, had no idea 'bout it. Thanks for explaining :) Still it's kinda strange she took damage, because I've planted the grass, so she had food all the time
