I have made gold pebbles,nuggets, and bars already and have discovered them a while back and after the last patch i went through and made more and discovered them again somehow even tho i

Something to do with adding an input type for nugget of any precious metal I assume

You learned the recently added type for precious metals, indeed. Not a bug.

New recipts were added that take gold nuggets as ingredient, so you discovered these.
