Game won't start

The game won't work and crashes when it loads. Please tell me what I'm doing, I've looked for the game files to fix this, but it doesn't work. don't know if this is a simple question, but please help me get this game working.

Are you using the Vanilla client (one that loads from the home page) or one of custom clients?

Most custom clients have their own threads here, but custom or vanilla - you'll have to provide more info for developers (like a crash report or something) to work with.

I think this post with answers to it should be moved into Bugs section, and, Vriska_Serket6231, please add more info than just "help it doesn't work".

Moved to "Bugs." Please direct technical support issues here unless you have a custom client. Custom client issues should be taken up with the modder unless you can confirm that the issue also occurs in the standard client.

In addition to Hasta's questions, post any error reports you receive. Without these, we cannot provide any help to you. If you have multiple tabs, we need everything from "Exceptions" and "Wrapped Exceptions". You can click the text area, press "Ctrl+a" to select all, "Ctrl+c" to copy it to the clipboard. In your post, paste the clipboard contents.
