The stats given do not show correctly. I should have Farming = 1 + 6 = 7 and not 1 + 1 = 2 because I have 2 items gilded with farming + 3.

when will people stop making retarded threads and spend two or three clicks to check info about obvious things?

well answering the topic: you can't have higher buffed stat than your base stat multiplied by two even if your equipment gives more bonus.

First of all, why are you so rude? Second, you clearly did not read what I said.

Your answers doesn't make sense because right now I have 2 equipment items, each give +1 exploration. Yet my exploration is 10 + 1, and not 10 + 2... the max should be 20, not 11.

You talked about farming, not exploration.

Also: do you have injuries? These can debuff you...

Looks like it, at least my tests didn't yield any divergence from the announced behaviour.

Making tooltips over attributes / abilities more detailed (like where the +/- comes from) could lessen the amount of such reports...

Making the "capping" by low basic skill value more obvious definitely would. Like, "Survival - 8 (4+4, 3 bonus points not active due to basic stat value being too low)", but a lot less wordy. Maybe play with colors or something.

or something like "4+4(+3 ignored)-2 injuries

and maybe adding gilding into part of the quests (and give option to turn off the quests for players that don't want them)
