A bond of blood, water, and sand

Postby Thrawn00 » Sun Jun 26, 2016 8:47 am

So today I was walking on the beach and saw some washed up trash. So I thought cool some random loots and what do I find a few cherry pits, a fresh squirrel tail, and a bond of blood and soil.
Not sure if this is a bug or what. But now I've got a bond to a claim I've no clue where it could be. Are claims suppose to just wash up on the beach at random?

Washed-up trash is not generated at random, it's things someone dumped into water somewhere before. So, someone didn't want that claim bond (or maybe drowned with it inside his study?). I have one of those myself, I even bound that to my character but have no clue where it is located.

Good reason to not go swimming with one in your inventory anywhere. Then again, if you are inheriting the claim, you just have to make a new one within 4 days.

Wait, what? I thought it was completely random. I've found master keys and also slave keys and thrown them away thinking they weren't actually tied to anything and were simply randomly generated :(

Sounds like a feature.

We call it simply, Russian soul.”

An idea to consider: Tedium, a Feature.

Someone threw it in the water and you found it. Not a bug.

Good Luck finding that claim, even if it still exists.

A suggestion for that would be if your toon pointed in the general direction of said claim when bond is left clicked on.

Actually if you take the bond and rtightclick it on it's claim it says "this bond is of this claim" or something. I guess it's one way of knowing. Just takes some legwork.

yes, this is known, however in cases where you loot one from a body or is cases like this where it was fished u, there is currently no indication where within the world the claim is.
