Cabinet Bug, hitbox issue or something? (resolved)

I recorded it to see if there's anyone else who has had this problem. I've been playing with a friend and he says he's never seen it.

In the video I explain that it's been a problem regardless of my client, currently I am using a custom client but it happened even when I was using Vanilla.

I had this same problem before i got my new computer, i asked and no one really helped. i used amber and purus client, neither worked

That's really weird, I have experienced this bug myself before but not with cabinets and certainly not with such success in reproducing it, rather if I recall correctly I was foraging and randomly one I clicked to pick started running me the opposite direction and it didn't look like I would stop moving if there weren't objects in the way. Only ever happened to me once though and I can't say I know why.

Someone I know mentioned experiencing this as well but I can't remember what they were doing at the time it happened.

I recall seeing at least one post on this in the past, but I can't seem to find it. My one guess would be that it's a synchronization issue with coordinates, but you showed one cabinet that opened fine.

lol that sucks. Have you had the same problem in other rooms? Or just that place?

fixed this if anyone has a similar issue, deleted video drivers and reinstalled with updates. i'm assuming it was just some fucked coordinate synchronization with java, which i also reinstalled to be sure.
