Thietild's Business Quest Bugged???

I'm trying to complete Thietild's Quest, when I spoke to Thietild I had no problems but when right clicking on Alloberg I only get the option to chop? Meant to be greeting this tree, not killing it, so what's up?

Are you sure you are by the right one? What happens if you click the other one?
