Only applies to the Coronation stone. Not important.

so only applies for destroying the actual kingdom itself? not the extensions? Would make more sense to destroy extensions and at least get 2.5k back at least to give some motivation to battle it out for land, otherwise it would cost too much authority in order to take control of lands.

I thought spending 5k authority to challenge Realm Cairn and regaining 2.5k when destroying it was really neat, balanced and thought-out mechanic. You can't spam challenges, grind authority using alt realm (would be possible if you'd gain more authority)

The partial refund of the challenge cost upon destroying the cairn would encourage people to make challenges that they're going to follow through. Having to pay 5k authority for destroying realm cairn makes waging proper war too hard I think.

You still get authority for destroying cairns. This bug report refers to the coronation stone specifically.
