keeps deleting my map from the new mapping feature, wondering if there is a fix or anything for this.

Yeah, this is quite annoying.
Another side-effect is that auto-marked natural resources seem to disappear from time to time.

Same problem too. My map completely gone out. First i've noticed it when i switched to another char by "switch character" in options.

Common problem, I've had it too. Not sure how to reproduce reliably. Would love to fix it.
