Got same problem that desctibed here.

I was just travel in my boat, then saw a clay pit in my game screen (i was not so far), after coupe of minimaps there was a mother pearl.
Looked at my local map and there were not clay pit.

Can i provide some additional info to help resolve it?

After more tries i found that opening the map while beign around the resource that was not in the map, seems that finally the resource showed up.

There have been some issues with map info dropping and whatnot. Not sure how to reproduce.
