Warranty voided by demanding instead of asking nicely to look into it if there is a problem (and if there is one: how to solve it)

Mind you, you don't necessarily "get" anything just from having your ancestor buried. It only causes your values to rise to the level they would have been at if he had been buried when you inherited, but if they're already above that, then it has no effect.

Shouldn't it return some of the LP that was spent on skills(not values) as unspent LP? Maybe I am just tripping but it doesn't seem like I'm getting enough of something.

Hmm, that's true. Are you sure you didn't get that?

I am pretty sure I got like 60k immediately after creating the character, so the other 30% should add up to 120k. The character has a total of 125k now, but I am positive I've studied more than 5k since making the character. 125k itself seems way too low anyway but I'd have to look up the cost of every single skill I had.

idk man. I guess just forget it. Even if I do the math I don't know if I remembered correctly. I guess it can't be THAT far off.

The cruel reality is sinking in... Maybe I was in denial

Keep in mind that 60% LP you get back isnt the 60% of total LP you had invested in your character.
Instead, the amount you gain back is based on how much points of skills you had.

For example, your farmer alt died. He had 160 farming, and 1,272,100 LP invested.
After you inherit with a new char, you will get 30% of farming skillpoint back, in LP form. However, since the cost of skillpoints increases arithmetically, you only get 112,900 LP back. As you can see, it's much lower then expected 30% from total LPs you had (around 380 000).
Continuing, you then bury your corpse, and get 30% more skillpoints back. This time the cost of skillpoints has increased massively, so you get 343,300 LP back.
Finally, you ask a local king nicely and he puts a pretty star on your grave using the State Funeral ability. Now, the cost of skill increase from 96 to 97 is a lot, so when you get another 30% back, you end up with whopping 573,700 LPs.

In conclusion, you get much lower LPs then expected when burying due to an exponential increase of skillpoints cost, unless you perform a state funeral.

No leads/might be resolved.
