It's probably related to everyone downloading clients. Arguably I should configure bandwidth shaping on the server, but I suspect it'll settle down enough to not be a problem before I have time to do that anyway.

Lag also seems to be only on imput side, while nothing happens critters like ants move normally.

Yes, that's actually quite odd, because it makes it difficult to ascribe to bandwidth trouble, given that inbound bandwidth is not particularly utilized.

Just for the record, though, the actual game server is running just fine, so whatever the problem is, I'm fairly sure it's bound to be something network-related.
