Tracking Scent of Dead Character Issue

When tracking the perpetrator it correctly points towards the corpse, right after death the hearthfire gives the message, 'The perpetrator does not have a hearth fire.' However upon them reincarnating it starts tracking the reincarnated characters hearth-fire. Not sure if bug or intended feature?

Cannot reproduce the behavior of tracking a perpetrator ever pointing at the reincarnated person's hearth fire. That should never occur. Likely user error, and would otherwise need steps to reproduce.

this happened a few times last world to us aswell
