Unable to Move Character

Postby xiaok » Sun Feb 12, 2017 4:49 pm

So when I first sign in and get on the character I can move via mouseclick only once, and then it will not let me move the character anymore. I can operate and navigate the UI but not move or click on anything in the actual world? I also am unable to basically interact with anything that isn't the UI. What is going on here?

Just got over trying to solve a driver issue and now this...

Windows 10 Home
Version: 10.0.14393 Build 14393

Processor: Intel Core i7-6500 CPU @2.5GHz
Driver Version:10.0.14393.0

Java: Version 8 Update 121 (build 1.8.0_121-b13)

Display: Intel HD Graphics 520
Driver Version: 20.19.15.4352
(I just updated this from this link https://www.asus.com/Notebooks/ASUS-Viv ... _Download/ to fix a previous issue with using the client)

ASUS Laptop
Model: X556UAM
64 bit

I don't know what else to provide Granger. I noticed in the HowTo it said "If you can't move you might need Java 64bit" I already have the most updated version. I have searched the forums prior to making this post and I can't seem to find anyone else who has this issue.

Most likely your Java is 32 bit, which has a known issue with Intel graphics.

Grab the Windows Offline (64-Bit) from here, uninstall all Java from Control Panel -> Programs and Functions, reboot, install the 64bit Java with the offline installer.

Why people always tell you to reboot computer when you update/install/uninstall something?
I never reboot when I do such things and never had any issues whatsoever.

Unsure what happened, but the game started working all of the sudden? Also, it was happening even after I uninstalled Java and reinstalled a guaranteed 64bit version.. but then randomly started working again?

Likely caused by 32-bit java. Resolved, in any event.
