Moose meat unteachable

I tried to get taught moose meat to be able to make elk dogs but it said that I already had that knowledge. After that I did butcher a moose and I was able to learn it that way. Seems that teaching moose meat to someone else is bugged somewhere.

Tried direct teaching, and can't reproduce the problem there either. Very unsure on what your problem may have been, but one theory is that the person who tried to teach you didn't actually know raw moose meat himself.

Well, I did ask that person if she had butchered before and now she is unsure... Shame on her for giving me false hope! You know who you are, "K"!

The error messages aren't clear, and its possible to teach someone something you don't know yourself, it just doesn't get taught. Got to pay attention for the sound animation to know you've done it right.
