Stone Column changing color?

Postby SlicingTheMoon » Wed Mar 22, 2017 3:24 am

I made a nice marble stone column with bronze metal so it would have a royal look...
It looked awesome as hell, so i left the mine to get some more stuff and when i returned it had turned ugly red grey and white....
I am really disappointed, it would have looked so nice with all pure marble dungeon.

I wanted to say to every one who came in to my little dungeon
Welcome to my Marvelous dungeon.... but now i simply cant...

i have seen this now and then and assumed it just to be a loading bug with amber client i use, its fixed by leaving the area and coming back to it as the client is using the default colour for the stone column but it is still made of marble.

It is a problem in the caching of the data needed. The correct colors and textures are stored on the server properly, but if your client doesn't get them cached before the object is displayed, default values are used.

I believe the materials bug to similar effect that we had has been fixed. Custom client issue/fixed?
