No exp events in 7 days +

Anyone else experienced a complete lack of exp events for such a long time?
I have a village mate that is the most active member and in the last week worked like crazy making cheese/silk/food/curios/farming/crafting/gilding/feasting ... you name it, he done everything. He did not worry at first that he did not get any exp event but eventually noticed and started doing pretty much everything he knew would trigger an exp event. Lifting tables, sitting down, walking on grass, lighting fire, clicking on willow, belive me when I say that he tried everything. 2 days ago he made a quest thinking the exp from it would trigger the world xp events yet nothing. He got the 35xp from quest but that was it. He is sitting there at 0xp unable to study anything, while we get 100XP just by walking on grass near him. He is pissed as hell and will quit the game. Losing him will pretty much mean the end of our village. As selfish as may sound, I make a living on his back since I lack time to play and I am only casual.

Please help me keep him in the game. I am sure he will thank us later after he'd waste more moths into this game and completly ignore his social life and slowly turn into a fat lazy addict and he's gonna start injecting marijuana just to keep up harvesting those pumpkins.

Try going on a mountain and seeing one of the salts, icicles, crystals etc... Sometimes the lores get stuck on a few and if they happen to be really hard to get you'll just end up in your situation. Btw starve an alt and burry it and put a flower on the grave in case you haven't tried.

In hindsight of the aforementioned events my village mate decided to end it all. He went to the mountains, found the highest cliff, stopped for a moment to be thankfull about everything life did him good, said a short prayer than jumped into the abyss below. Then BAM .. not only he landed safely like a feather, he got 200XP. O_o SOLVED

Now if only we had an update ...
