claim protection on claims

pclaim: protects cupboard on plowed tile
vclaim: no protection of cupboard on stone paved tile
vclaim+pclaim: no protection of cupboard on stone paved tile

all done above ground, only pclaims protect against all decay but vclaim overwrites that. idk if bug or feature as imo claims should only slow down decay, not completely protect
(i've had a cupboard on plowed tile in pclaim strictly for almost a month now as a test of sorts)

lolwut? so all i have to do is plow a tile and drop my cupboards onto it and i can stop filling every walk able square in my house with them? honestly anything is better than the way they otherwise work outside, i.e. show no decay value for like a day and a half then randomly drop all durability in 1 tick and throw your crap all over the ground to decay while youre offline.

Confirmation bias or science?

Asking since decay is random... it might miss a single cupboard outside for quite some time...

cupboard still there after a month or so, had to repair my loom (on village claim) twice since

i noticed someone saying cupboards weren't decaying in a random topic and wanted to test it. i think any tile will do (forest or stone), but only private claims without a village claim over top of it (so mostly hermits and small bases)

same for other stuff such as a loom not taking decay damage on a private claim (with no village overtop)

While the find may sound interesting, don't you think that a sample size of one is a little small?

I've had cupboards explode outside under Pclaim. To my knowledge decay mechanics haven't been mucked with since then.

Throw down 100 cupboards and calculate the half life, that'll be a good test.

No claim protects cupboards outdoors, quite simply. Not a bug.
