Digging Crashes

Postby apoc254 » Thu Apr 27, 2017 11:01 pm

This has happened to me twice now since the update. The game has crashed while digging. It happened at two different map points, but they were sort of close to each other.

Could be an issue with gpu drivers. Or at least it looks like that.
You could try updating them, which gpu you have?

It also seems that you are using 32-bit java.
You could try installing 64-bit version.
Not that it would necessarily help.

GPU is at the lastest version. I am running: Device ACPI\AuthenticAMD_-_AMD64_Family_21_Model_16_-_AMD_A8-4555M_APU_with_Radeon(tm)_HD_Graphics

64 bit Java could help, as could to use a different version of the video driver.

Having the same issue. I think the update was too much for my older laptop.
let us all take a moment remember and honor trisby, the true desident of Tris, who was last seen in all white walking into a river with her beloved sledgehammer in her hands. May she find honor and glory in the next life

As the crash is in the video driver: trying a different version of it might solve the issue.

I have tried two versions. the latest and one that allows me to expand to different screen ratios that is a little bit older. I crashed in the second post with the older driver.

this never happened before the latest update.

Could be a side effect of the new sonic style pickups.

Nevertheless, in case you have a 64 bit windows: try 64 bit java.
