Leeches causing infections

Not sure if bug or intentional, but since infections got implemented it became unwise to use leeches to treat wounds because the damage tick the leech does ends up turning the wound you wanted to treat into a infection instead.

Yeah, it should be reviewed. Just turned my blunt trauma into a huge infected Sore. Or, at least, since it go +1/-1, why not increase the chance to decrease if the hearthling is well fed ? ( like 9500+ energy )

So that's not exactly what's happening. Leeches never mark the wound they're treating as "treated". What this means is they can still get infected while you're leeching the wounds.

It's not a bug, but it's probably a mechanics oversight because you're quite right that leeches are way too risky to use atm.

Not a bug per se.
