I Can't Seem to Move

So I just downloaded the game on to my surface and I was able to get to the intro but after moving once I cant move any farther. Please help so I can pick a gender and play.

im not expert but is it touch screen and are you useing it as touch mabye needs a mouse

For now I have a mouse. Also it seems to be a weird resolution issue because if I swap between maximizing and reducing the screen size I get an extra click each time, just figured that one out.

right click doesn't work at all when trying to talk to npcs...

Probably a user needs 64-bit java issue. Won't pursue.
