Missing dead crabs

Whenever I run over a crab while on a horse, there's no dead crab body. It just vanishes into thin air. I confirmed this with the default client as-well. No body, just the "death cloud" .

pretty sure this was a "fix" for people doing this and avoiding the crab injury.

edit: hm... can't seem to find a note on it, so maybe I'm mistaken here.

heck, we want bodies, not bloody mess...btw, i can crush sneks with cart and horsie, and avoid the fight, cannot avoid damage with picking up crabs, wich instead have another way to prevent it?

According to the two in the last (way to long ago) dev livestream: "where is the fun in being able to grab a crab without any chance of injury?"

Not a bug, intended, live with it.

Actually, if i run over a snek with a horse, i can pick up the snek w/o getting damage...crab still give damage, could not pick up if killed by horse, and really, last time i tried to pick up 2 crabs and kill one, took 3 days to heal all the damage, with 2 wounds and -6 dex, not fun. I tried with gloves too, took damage anyway, fek crabs, i grab a clover, grab a wild horse, kill 5-6 sneks around, better loot, A LOT better.

Ok, I thought it was a bug, but that makes sense. Can't the same be said about the adders?
