Do inactive accounts get deleted or is this a bug?

Hi, I had some difficulty logging into my old account so I tried using the email function to get my username and password and it said "You (or possibly, in the case of abuse, someone else), have requested
a list of Haven & Hearth accounts registered on this e-mail address. There are, however, no accounts registered on this e-mail address. Faithfully yours, The Seatribe team". I played the game before, even paid for verification when that "finite amount of time you can play per week" model was being tried out so I don't know what more I can do on my end.

Probably miskeyed your username/password. You should always treat sites as case sensitive even if they're not. Haven's authentication software is one of many that requires proper capitalization of the name, but will allow "User" and "user" as two distinct accounts.

May have used the wrong email, though. I've done this myself. There's been some issue here with Hotmail/Outlook accounts because Microsoft uses a different standard than almost everyone else.

I knew I was probably messing up the case sensitivity so I chose the option that emails you telling you what your username is, then I was going to use that username to send a password reset request. Thing is, I have two emails and I checked them both; the message went through but no accounts were shown on either of them, and I must have used one of those accounts before to get the verification email.

In this case, best suggestion I can make is to PM jorb or loftar the possible email addresses and what you think the account names are you are trying to access. There could have been an internal error or something else that they are willing to help you with privately.

Not sure if we resolved this, but shoot a PM if anyone has this problem. Accounts do not get deleted.
