Two things you might try without posting further:
1. If you have an Nvidia GPU in a laptop or other situation where the integrated Intel GPU may still be available to use:
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=50999#p674822. You can also manually disable the Intel GPU in BIOS, but may require some tinkering with things you are not comfortable with.
2. If you do not have an expansion graphics processor, ensure that you are running 64-bit Java. First, uninstall any current versions of Java. Second, download the Windows (x64) version from this link
http://javadl.oracle.com/webapps/downlo ... dfaa008135 and install. A reboot is always advised after removing system software and again after installing. (Not always necessary, but it allows the system to flush the old out and ensure the new is running, so it's good practice.)
One of these two will probably fix it, but if not, please post what hardware you are using. CPU and graphics at a minimum, please. If you can't find that, then computer manufacturer and model and most likely we can look it up from their website.
Some of the older Intel GPUs don't support OpenGL properly and the 32-bit drivers were never debugged since Microsoft moved to a default 64-bit OS with Win 7.
