Character lost?

I had a character I used to watch the animals I was working on taming when my main was offline because they tend to despawn when no one is online. Today when I tried to play she had disappeared. Her old hearth fire is now just a bunch of sticks, and she's not on my character menu so I can't reincarnate her. Not sure if she was killed while I was afk all day or how to get her back. :?

Lol ... the guardian of despawn animals has despawned. :D Contrappasso's law.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

yee sounds like she died. look for her body last place you left her maybe you will find skelly

Her body is missing. And shes gone from my login screen. I've had characters die before but was always able to reincarnate them. Does it time out or something?

log onto that characters account, create new character, search the graveyard past the bonfire and look for the grave-marker.

Make sure you're logging in to the correct account. Both name and password are case sensitive.

Character was most likely dead, quite simply.
