ATI graphics popped up this error before closing the client

Postby HIgh_Queen_Kim » Thu Nov 23, 2017 5:32 am

I build my own computers (for 25 years now) this one has: AMD A10-6800K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, 4100 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Java 1.8.0_151_b12

While in my village, after equipping my scythe, I right clicked on a chest (I don't recall if I actually put my saw in my inventory or not)...
then my graphics system pops up the following information giving me the option to copy it before closing the AMBER client

I repeated the event three times.
I believe the game still had my metal saw in my hand but did not show it. I right clicked on the chest to open it. I store my saw and bucket in there while harvesting and planting.
The first time I reloaded the game and right clicked the chest I did not realize that the error would reproduce.
I do not have my saw anymore. Easy enough to make another one. Just saying.
Now every time I try to click on the same chest the game gives me that error and my client crashes.

Secondary confirmation. Separate machine, NVidia graphics. The chest must have gotten bugged out somehow cause it crashed me out, too.

Generally speaking, when using custom clients, it's a good idea to see if the problem persist on the default client. In this case, the problem has already been reported to and acknowledged by Amber as particular to his client.

UPDATE: It was items in the chest, I destroyed the chest and started to pick up the items and immediately got booted out.

I can no longer sign into this character, the game is crashing every time it tries to load the item.

Loftar, thank you for your quick response. Of course, being human, and ultra frustrated that a game I chose to financially support no longer works in the fashion that I'm accustom, you could see (hopefully) how taking the time to research such facts isn't anywhere near my first reaction. Thank you for pointing out that this is not your error. I appreciate that. There are several features of the Amber client that make the game, in my opinion, much easier and more enjoyable to play. So much so that I wouldn't mind throwing them a dollar or two a month as well. I do hope you, loftar, forgive me for wasting your time.

Merged posts on identical issues: the problem lies in the modded client not being updated yet. Crashes occur when attempts to access items that have been changed in the most recent update.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Which would be the author of the custom client you used - who already knows about the problem.
