Intentional Or Bug?

Ok, so I've done a little testing to try to confirm this, and I believe the results are consistent. Bats seem to have their quality capped by the survival of the person killing it, and they appear to be the only animal that does. Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

For the record, I don't care which way this gets fixed, but it definitely feels like it needs to be fixed. Either make all animals work this way or none of them. (I lean towards "all of them" m'self)

I think it is only for animals you can put in your inventory that get softcaped like this.
if you kill a rabbit in combat i think it will also get softcaped by your survival, just like if you would pick it up, but you can not pick up a bat without killing it.

This does not really matter much either way, most rabbits, squirrels and bats do not exceed q50 with some exceptions.

I believe the above post is correct. Pseudo-intended, at least. All pickup creatures are capped by srv.
