Leash/unleash broken?

Since the update I haven't been able to unleash an animal except to drop the rope. This is seriously inconvenient. Especially when I am in an area where dropping my rope where I don't have full permissions means I loose the rope and possibly the animal. In the case of a horse, I can not mount a leashed horse until I drop the rope. Adding the convenience of being able to keep the stats window open and see the animal's name doesn't seem worth the functionality we've lost. Is there a fix for this in the works?

Is this on default client or a custom client? I ask because I have no problems mounting my leashed horses, I've ridden two different ones today, one leashed inside and another leashed to a tree outside ... I'm on Amber though.

Yeah it's happening on the default .... weird that is not happening on customs tou.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

It's the horse being leashed to me so it doesn't wander. It acts the same whether I'm in a custom or default client. I right click on it to mount it and it keeps popping up the name box.. If the box is already up it brings it to the fore of the screen. I have no options to inspect, slaughter or giddy-up. Before the update if I had a horse leashed to me it came up with options to inspect, slaughter or Giddy-up. Inspecting automatically broke the leash. Giddy-up broke the leash and mounted the horse.

ah ok, it happens on customs too .... btw it's since the change to the hitching post, I mean where you can leash your horse without dismount first.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

** Shrugs ** I just know that the issue started for me after the Navy Seals update.

Ahh right, leashed to you ... mine were leashed to a tree and a hitching post so obviously not applicable ...

i cant unleash them either. and im using amber. i dont know what the hells going on. it is annoying.
