Agreed. Random quests give random results, defy any player-made coherent plans for anything. Quests should be a thing well thought and balanced with the player's ability or level or stats or whatever. Definitely not RANDOM. RANDOM is the problem with quests, not the quest demands in themselves. Both for credos and for normal quests.
Big discussions on this in C&I with several threads on different suggestions to fix it. If there's no bug here, let's move this conversation over to there, please.

I don't recall this one specifically because I don't have a good sense of all the colors of the biomes, and probably won't do very good at it because the custom clients can serve that up. I'd suggest using the Ring of Brodgar wiki to start with to see what they spawn in.
