Time on a Woodshaving?

The wiki says about 73 hours, why does the default client say 10 days?

I think time in default client is in game time. 3 days game time = 1 day real live time.

I would like to notify that it is actually not precisely 1:3 ratio. Its somewhere around that, but you should not trust 1:3 ratio. For example, wrecking ball dries for 3 in game days, which is actually 22-23 or so real time hours. Not 24. Been like this since the legacy at least.

It's somewhere in the ballpark of 3.17-3.25 on average. Someone posted it one time, but I didn't save it.

Yes, the custom clients based on Amber show the real time to completion, which is what is on the wiki so that it's easier to do calculations for the players.

I must say that I'm mildy disappointed that they didn't use Pi (3.141...) as the nerdy factor for this... or did they and everybody measured wrong?

I am pretty sure that they just decided that one second has N ticks and one in game day is Y ticks, without really caring about the exact ratio.

I vaguely remember loftar confirming Haven time is 3.26 or 3.29x real time

Not bad memory, just don't care about trivialities like this that we should probably post on the wiki so that they can be referenced when someone asks. :geek:

If I had known it was there, I'd have just posted the link, but why do I need to look it up when I don't need to remember it because the Amber forks give the real time?

Client uses ingame days. Not a bug.
