Swirling Vortex Appearing Out Of Nowhere

So today I was just rowing around in my boat looking for random boulders to take home when suddenly a swirling vortex appeared out of nowhere. My boat was destroyed in an instant and my character drowned a few moments later. Today I lost my character on which I was playing for at least a year. I find that this death was pretty unfair since I see no error from my side. I haven't made any bad decisions like fighting a bear while having an unarmed level of 1 or picking a fight with a random stranger who can easily instakill me. I was just rowing around when suddenly a vortex spawned on top of my character. If I was going to die in a game like Haven & Hearth I've wanted my death to be a pleasant memory or at least an opportunity to learn from it, but this has just left me with sour taste in my mouth and definitely not a feeling of satisfaction, which I use to feel quite a lot while playing this game. I hope the devs are going to look into this weird occurrence.

I have given you personally positive feedback on several of your manifold C&I threads, and labor under no such misconceptions. I also know better than to take every end-user for their immediate word, because that leads to ghost chasing bugs that do not exist. Comb your hair, kid.

@ OP: Not much I can say about your problem. Maybe you had a loading hickup, or maybe you weren't paying attention. Other than that I have no explanation. We do not spawn vortexes, ever, and they do not move around. I am sorry for your loss.
