Opium doesn't heal wretched gore

Smoking opium doesn't appear to heal wretched gore, unless the probability is so small that I didn't trigger it.

I smoked off 25 blunt trauma and kept smoking for awhile. Gave myself a 23 dragon bite but it didn't touch the 46 wretched gore.

Smoking Opium has a chance to heal Infected Sore, Punch Sore, Concussion, Severe Mauling, and Blunt Trauma wounds.

Not sure what made you think it would heal wretched gore.

[*] Whenever you smoke opium, you receive a buff "Chasing the Dragon". For each puff of the pipe, the buff accumulates a certain amount of wound points. You can see on the buff how many points of damage it has accumulated.
[*] As the buff ticks down, there is a chance to convert wound points accumulated in the buff into healing of certain wound types, namely: Infected sore, Wretched Gore, Concussion, Blunt Trauma, and Punch Sore.

Ok, it was just a mistype of wretched gore for severe mauling in the patch notes?
