Boreworm spawning in water

So I just had a caveworm that spawned in deep water inside my cave.
It did dig itself in, but only popped up on the same spot in the water.

I could aggro it, but it could not move towards me. After killing it, the body stayed on the water.

Can add a picture if necessary.

I am not sure if I was the one who 'spawned' it. I found it in the water. But while digging itself back in the ground (water) it popped up in the same place in the water.

Can't reproduce this, and there's nothing obvious in the c0d3z to explain it. Would love to hear other reports, but otherwise won't pursue.

I can confirm that this happened on level 1. No one mined to spawn it but it was in the water. It could also not dig out of the water. Different occasion. If you would like an image I can supply it. Posted it in hedge discord like a week ago.

That is level 1 and no one has mined in that area (atleast a minimap away in all directions for a week).

I came across the exact same thing recently.
