While I'm thankful for the link, I sadly to have to report to not being convinced that this mechanic is a good solution to the problem - and it reminds me to much of the legacy bad habit of applying half baked band aid fixes (that caused more issues then they fixed) that I thought you had overcome a while ago.

Possibly you could reconsider before people come up with even worse methods to paint themselves into a corner?

I got stuck on one too when inside a house and trying to put it down, when inside can't we just have the option to stick it on a wall? I was expecting to be able to, they are small enough to go on a wall.

While I'm not pretending that the solution is anywhere near perfect, I can't say I really know what the actually perfect solution to this problem actually would be, and I'm not sure this situation is worse than that prior to the fix. Control-clicking does make it pretty easy to get back in a situation where you can drop the coracle.
