Credo quest requirement bugged

Is this really intended? I hope not. It looks like the effective requirement is based on my ancestor's stats?

What if you have like thousands of stats, die, then you need to get hundreds/thousands of stat points to finish those quests? Seems weird...

So you inherited the quest@
Or did you drop gear that gave a STR bonus?
Or did you do something that debuffed your stats (wounds come into mind)?

- no
- might have had some concussion yes but that would not have matched the 20 str (I think)

I've had wounds when doing quests, and stats from gear, but had never noticed either of those screwing with the quest requirements like they do other aspects of the game (such as travel weariness).

Are you trying to make Quarryman credo?

Here is possible scenario:
- complete 4 lvl of credo (so you at lvl 5 1/x)
- abandon quest

After abandoning last quest you will be dropped to livel 4 x/x, and lose its profit (20 STR). And since all credo buffs are "white" and all quests checks only white stats/skills you can get into such situation.

Sounds like a bug (if I read that correctly) should the 'win' condition (to raise STR to a certain level) for the replacement quest being calculated based on the current (pre-abandon) state - before the buff that was gained from completing the prior credo quest (which is additionally voided by abandoning the current one) is removed.

If that is the case the code needs to void the extra quest prior to generating the new one, instead of the other way around.

The scenario described above sounds like it matches a thing that happened to me:

I was given a Tailor quest along the lines of
- Gain two levels of sewing
- Make a thing
- Study two leather balls (because WHY IS THIS A THING, WHY IS IT ALL BALLS?)

And the 'gain two levels of sewing' bit went green immediately, much to my confusion. And then someone pointed out to me that I had probably just gained the '+some levels of sewing' buff, and lo, so I had.

The +20str from quarryman might make sense, I think I was doing it! And it would match the +22 required so maybe not the ancestor.

Anyway there is a bug somehow, while not a big deal with low stats it could be a pain with higher stats?

Today I got the opposite, a requirement directly done after starting the quest, it was gain 1 point of lore

I had a quest previously with the same alt and same lore requirement and it was not "already done" when I got it the first time.
I had no equipment with bonuses, or wounds this time but was in a realm boosting lore (don't really think that any of that mattered this time)

Finished the first level of lumberjack then got this quest? Yes, it's because you just got +15 lore...
