recycling of equipment with wear issue

if you recycle an item with wear such as a bat cape it is possible to end up with a result that has higher wear than its maximum, I don't know the results of this, maybe it will just break as soon as it gets hit but having recycled a new cape with an old one has given me one about to break. I would like to suggest you make the new item start with 0 wear rather than inheriting it.

It isn't a new item, though; it's just the previous item with the gildings recycled. I don't necessarily see a problem with your modified cape breaking right after use when you lowered its quality.

my bad i guess, i kinda thought it was recycling the items that went in including guildings into one new item. naturally this would mean the old items are lost and a new one is created, what with the ql averaging and all i guess i just assumed, sorry bout that.
