Can't access my own Leanto

I built a claim today, and after building the claim the leanto I had built a long while back suddenly became inaccessible to me, citing that 'That does not belong to you.' This occurred after I had put a crate into the leanto and before the claim was staked. Now I have two crates in a leanto I cannot access.

EDIT: Apparently my character still sleeps in the leanto, as I spawn next to it when I log in, but he still doesn't own it?

You spawn where you log out, should that location be unavailable (i object in the way) on your heart fire or (should you have none) in the wilderness. You don't sleep in the leanto.

Possibly your claim interferes with it, but it should not. Are you sure you try to access it with the right character?

Ah crap, just found the reason why. One of my kin put something into it before I did and then logged off.
